[Z06] Z06 test drive today

Z06 test drive today
In about an hour, we'll be test driving a 2001 red/mod red Z06. Was wondering what other questions to ask besides the oil consumption questions. The car IS on a lot, so won't get much info, but was wondering if you guys could suggest items to check, and other questions to ask. It has 14K on the clock, carfax checks out, very clean. I would check out the brakes and make sure the pedal does not "stick", esp after a hard acceleration. They put faulty brake boosters in the early 2001s. I had to have mine replaced, and haven't had any problems since. Other than the clutch, and paint quality, I can't think of anything else major to look out for. What dealership is the Z on? Test driving is one thing; buying is another.
If you become interested in that car, suggest having the dealer pull its maintenance history. If he won't/"can't," walk away. Use the maint history to contact the former owner and have a frank conversation about the car. It's very risky to buy a used Z06 without knowing its real history.
