When I had my Trans Am with just an electric cutout I had some Ricer with a fart can rev at me in traffic. I opened the cutout and revved back. His jaw dropping to the floor and the look on his face were priceless.
I agree. I think it does people some good to know that when you step out of your Vette in a parking lot and comment on someone's vehicle that might not necessarily be as expensive / nice as yours. They usually don't know what to say.
Not everyone in this world is as privelaged as we are to have a Vette, and a few kind / positive words coming from you to them will make their day.
Amen. I agree. Yep, I realize how fortunate I am. I know good hardworking people who never seem to make much or have much. Yes, it is something to be thankful about.

Mine was a few months back during fathers day. I swung into Sonic's to get a drink when this SUV of drunk women pull up about two bays over. One walks in the front of my car and stares real hard through the windshield to see who was driving. She comes over, leans in my drivers side window and says "I want to do you and your car." I just laughed and she gave me her number. It was definately awkward, but made me laugh nonethe less.
Moral of the story....I guess its true when they say vettes make them...well I forgot the rest

I am down in Durango with my wife for my daughter . . . she is due to deliver number three. She has one of each at this point. But I drove my Tacoma, which I love, but still I miss having my vert. Everytime I see one it makes me homesick.
It could be three weeks before we get back. I guess I will just have to tuff it out.
Yup, I give the thumbs up to most cars that are performance oriented regardless of the make. Anybody that is respectful and appreciative of my car will get the same back.
Nice.
Today I had a guy in a 90s Saleen Mustang just look at my car while stuck in traffic with his jaw dropped. He then looked back at his car and actually petted the car where his hand was resting in the open window. He was surely wishing he had a Corvette.
I'm a Mustang purist, and I will take a Saleen Mustang over any Corvette or Cobra any day.
I have been told by Mustang, Camaro, T/A, and mivan owners the Vette is a cool car.
