Default fender stripes

I ran into some extra red vinyl and i was wondering if anyone knows the dimensions of the grand sport
stripes. I think that would help set off the red calipers i just painted. thanks

There are no Grand National stripes...Grand Sport stripes, yes, but they look ridiculous on a C5...just my .02

The rear wide stripe is 3" and the front narrower stripe is 2.5".

My stripes are the same size for both. Here's a bad picture of them!

Another forum member I know got the stripes right from GM and his were 3 inch front, 5 inch rear stripes. They start about 6 inches or so up the fender from the headlight. I would have to go measure to be sure, but I like them, especially when there are three other cars just like mine in our group. All I can assume from the different stripe sizes is that there are many different types of stripes, so do whatever you like the best.

Saw this on a lot. Hopefully it may help. I personally like the Grand Sport stripes. I do like the two different sizes though, front one being thinner than the back one. It is a personal touch and can be a nice "this is my car look".

Hey guy some people like them, some won't. In the end it's all relative, I love my little vinyl POS fender stripes.

On a serious note, they are called hash marks. They appeared on the 1963 and 1996 Grand Sports.

I personally like them.
