Where's the vendor and why isn't he answering in this thread.
My take on this: OP paid a core of $350 and was not given any specific timeframe to send the cores back. Yes, 52 days is longer than I would take BUT that's not the point. If the vendor needs them back within a certain timeframe that should be stated and it's not. $350 core charge is due back to the buyer when he sends the cores in.
Whatever happened to, "The Customer is Always Right"? Oh yeah, now I remember, it's been replaced with the Wall Street way of business......"Greed is Good"...........
CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe there are people siding with the vendor, the vendor is just returning the $350. that was paid already!!! Just because it took 52 days means nothing! If there was no stated return policy the time frame doesnt matter. CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd tell ya to get bent too. Would have figured you weren't returning the lights and he obviously needs to keep a set on hand to send out making it easier for some folks who drive their cars daily... 1 vote vendor. I think he's being generous giving you half the $$ back.

Greed is good.....but excessive greed is criminal! Shame on you Wall Street and everyone involved.

His (the vendors) interests shouldn't be the buyers problem unless the vendor specified a timeframe for core return. The vendor walks free on this?? Notice Tyler hasn't responded, that will do wonders for his business

This may be a long shot, But is there a way we can vote for a temporary ban untill he comes in here to explain himself?
I understand hes a sponser and blah blah, But we cant have basically unethical/scammers for sponsers on this board, Being a forum vendor he should be made to explain his side if he wants to continue to advertise his product here!

I'm just putting myself in Tyler's spot... as a business man, trying to make money. I am a very unpatient person admittantly, and would consider a "reasonable" amount of time to return the stock lights to be around 2 weeks.. and that's being generous. It would take all of an hour to replace the lights, over a two week span that's less than 5 minutes of work a day. Certainly that sounds reasonable? How many times did the OP wash his car in that 2 month span? How many hours did he spend on CF?? You see where I'm going I hope. 2 months is just too long, at least for me. IMHO of course. We all know common sense, being reasonable, and courtesy doesn't prevail in today's world.
BTW- I am gettin a new HVAC LED modded unit from a forum vendor this week. He was nice enough to not even charge me a core, nor did he give me a timeline to return my HVAC unit. I guess he should be happy to see it sometime in the next 6 months... I will be shipping it back to him same/next day, cause that's the right thing to do.

That's all fine and dandy. But I would think that if you were a really ADMITTEDLY IMPATIENT person, you would have thought to list a return policy for your cores or make your customers aware of it. And that's great that your recent purchase didn't include a core charge, but this individual's DID...
You're missing the point. It's amazing, really, because what the vendor "thinks" is a reasonable amount of time or YOU THINK is a reasonable amount of time DOESN'T MATTER when there's no stated return policy! So...(IMHO, of course) what I would do is tell the VENDOR to get bent and sue him (over the principle of the issue) for the $350.00!!
By the way, if common sense, being reasonable and courtesy would have prevailed in this situation, the vendor would have given the customer his entire core charge back. (Even after he waited that long for it, because it was the right thing to do). Once again, because he wasn't smart enough to state his return policy.

This is what makes our society such a shame...
I got my lights tinted like I wanted, I took my sweet a$$ time to put them in, I don't have any common courtesy or give a rats a$$ what YOU think about that. I wasn't given a definite timeline of what's acceptable. I am not a reasonable person and I want my money back, so I am going to sue YOU.
