Thanks for the info.

You have to be careful when opening and closing the doors with most kits. The doors do not line up with the striker everytime and you will beat the **** out of the fiberglass around the latch on the door. I have LSD door hinges and by far are the best out there, they have fixed this problems. I just don't know how well the doors would hold up to them, on windy days the doors have a lot of shake to them.
I hate how they look, but the way things are with parking at school, I'm ashamed to say I'm considering them. I kind of like the GT Factory gullwing doors, but I'm not sure how it would look on a vette.
Love or hate the "vertical" doors I see no reason not to use them on a daily driver. I have them and although my cars not a daily driver it does get about 5000 miles a year put on. The LSD's unlike some other brands line up perfect every time you close the door. You can either enter the car with the doors vertical or most of the way open as you would on a stock Vette. (I'm 6'4" 230 with no problem) At shows they do shake a bit on a very windy day but that would be expected-you can always put them down. Other than people calling my doors lambo doors instead of vertical doors I have no problems.
