The website has poor illustrations. i cannot make out the installation points. Am I correct in assuming they go on the frame and not the rocker panel itself?
Next, how do they align up? I noticed there are two alignment dimples on the bottom of the panels. However, I cannot find anything they align up with on the bottom of the car.
Who is the manufacturer of the product you bought? Did you try to contact them for further explanation?
Here's the ELITE ENGINEERING USA instruction page for their frame rail protectors. Some might be slightly different in appearance, but it might help...
I got it figured out. Yeah I didn't realize the importance of these until AFTER I got the car and realized even the stock ride height doesn't clear many speed bumps! Suffice to say the least I got a couple scratches
Anyways, I cannot remember what I got. The pictures to install them on their website were basically taken with the car on the ground so you couldn't see ANYTHING. However, I should have looked under the car before posting. It was pretty self explanatory.
Before I put them on though I repainted the frame rails with rubberized paint... and used RTV gasket sealant on the top side of the protectors.
