Well, I'm looking at getting new tires for the Vette and can't decide between Firestone Firehawk run flats(on the car now) or the new Goodyear F1 All Seasons(not run flats). I am leaning towards the Goodyears as it will be winter in Seattle when I am home and I got caught out with a dusting of snow in the Firehawks last year. The only thing that scares me is the noise complaints I have heard on Tire Rack about the Goodyears. Anyone have actual experience with the Goodyears? What about the noise? Any other negatives? Thanks
I had Goodyear and did not dislike them, but when I need tires I got Yokohama and I love them. I cannot speak highly enough about them. Handling. Noise. In rain.
Yes you do, Can I have a set?
I know you are stock piling them...lol
What can I say, I'm a Firestone guy. They started making the Wide Oval in run-flat for the C6. About a $100 less than the Firehawks (which are just over $300), another $100 less for the Wide Oval non-run flat. Might be my next tire, after I use up my supply of Firehawks RFT's..
Sorry OP, I've not run Goodyear's, yet...
Aloha,
Michael

Thanks for the replys, i might look into the Toyo's now. Performance aside I still think i like the look of the F1 all seasons a bit better, but that is lame to choose a tire on design....right....maybe not...??
My wife drives our 02 home from work late at night sometimes and, well, staying with a run-flat design seemed the smart thing to do.
Good to know they deliver(ed). What brand are you running?
Aloha

I've always hung with the Goodyears, never really perceived any noise issues. Then again what I primarilly hear is the AR longtubes and Corsa Indys
