Found mine on Craigslist in California. One owner with 28K on it. He was asking $28,500 for it. Got it for $22,700 and flew down and drove it the 700 miles home. I LOVE THIS CAR!!

I didn't find mine, It found me, I was driving down auto row and I wasn't looking at the lots or looking for a car for that matter and for some reason something told me to look right and there it was just sitting there saying come check me out, I went around the block and took a look at it and an hour later it was mine.

Found mine on ebay. It was three hours from my house at a small used car dealer. Bid on it but didn't reach the reserve. They contacted me a week later since I was the highest bidder and offered it to me at my bid. Had a local Chevy dealer do an inspection for $300: perfect, they said. Done deal. When I arrived to pick it up the visor mirror was missing, the headlights would only come up every third try, no emregency brake and the lumbar buttons didn't work. Dealer took off $1500 and I drove away (fixed everything within a week). Chevy dealer returned my money. '01 Vert, 20K miles, garage queen, $28.5K in April '06. Now it's my DD and at 35K, no real problems (column lock issue, rear glass delam). Love it.

I luckily found mine within the first hour of being listed on cars.com. The description was just what I was looking for but I knew I found the "right original owner" when I saw the car's reflection in his epoxy coated garage floor. He was 90 miles away in Janesville Wisconsin.

Back in 2005, I was striving to find a dead mint '02-'04 red/mod red z. I think I was on page 10 or so in the classifieds here on the forum. Sure enough, there it was! Called the owner, took a ride that night. Left a hefty deposit and picked it up later that week. It was past Boston where I drove it home. The happiness I felt that night driving a car withOUT a scratch on it, with 812 miles on it and the wrappers still on everything, words can not describe! I almost slept in it that night hehee.

A bit of mixed feelings came over me of late and I almost decided to sell it at one point. A return trip to Englishtown yesterday has assured me to keep it! Three years I've owned it. Time flies.

I was looking for a FRC.I had found a red 2000 in Texas but the guy sold it the same week that I sold my 75 roadster. Then I found a 01 ZO6 in Louisville KY.I called the owner and told him I would take it if it checked out as he said it was.AS I was leaving Cincinnati with money in hand he called and said he just sold it to a co-worker.Then I was lurking here on the forum and happened to see a guy had 99 FRC for sale in his sig.I called him and went and purchased it that night. It was just 20 miles from my house.Been very happy with it.

I was looking for a C5 for 6 weeks in the summer of 2004 and not having any luck finding anything in my price range, and one morning when I checked the Auto Trader website right after they uploaded the new batch of cars for the week, mine was in it. Someone had just traded it in for a new Infiniti G35 coupe and the dealer put it up in the Auto Trader. I phoned the dealer as soon as they opened for business that day, then immediately drove there to look at the car. I bought it on the spot!

I found my 2003 at a German Chevrolet dealer in October 2006. It had some 4k miles then. And the Z16.. I bought it from Roger's Corvette Center in Florida last year with only 96 miles.

H&H Corvettes here in the Orlando area. It was in 'roll off the factory line' condition.

I didn't have a second thought on this one.

Found it right here on CF. Spent months searching e-bay, cars.com, vehix.com, all the local dealers etc. before I discovered CF. I lurked here for about 3 months and found a 04 C/E coupe garage queen less than an hour from my house. Best auto transaction I've ever made too.
