Here she is! I'm a new member to the Corvette family. What do you all think should be next?
Current Mods.......
PS1 Procharger (6psi)
B&M Precision Shifter
Homemade Shortie Antenna
RK Sport Hi-Rise Cowl Hood
Z06 Style Screens (all 6)
Lowered on stock bolts
Also, tinted windows and tinted black corner lights will be done soon! I believe I want to do wheels/tires next. I'm thinking about getting some drag radials for the rear (keeping the stock rear wheels), then ordering stock replicas for the front in 18x9.5 to match the rears for the time being. I don't really like the 18/17 look for some reason. What do you all suggest? I really want some CCW 505a's, or SP500's but I can't afford those yet! :o
I've searched and searched through this forum looking at different wheel/tire combos trying to decide, but I still need some help on which would look best on mine!
I think you are on the right track with new tires!!! It looks like you have the stockers on there!! When I bought mine, I had the stock fronts on!! They were terrible. They were old, dried out, and stiff!! When I got the new tires installed it really helped the handling and ride!!!
Yep, stock tires, and I HATE them! They ride horrible, but the Supercar tires are known for this I learned. Its now 32.5k miles, and when I got the car it had 31k on it. It had the procharger on it when I bough it, but I have since done everything else to it. It was BONE stock minus the supercharger kit. Stock exhaust, stock shifter, stock ANTENNA (lol), etc. It's very clean compared to a few others I looked at. A few rock chips here and there, but nothing major at all. I'm the 3rd owner of it, and hopefully i'll keep it for a lonnnnng time, it's a blast to drive especially here in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky!
I actually like the look of the stock Z06 wheels now, they have grown on me over the past few months. I just wished the fronts were 18's as well, that's the only thing that gets me. I'll probably keep the same diameter tire up front, then run a slightly taller/wider tire out back if possible. Waayyy Too many options! haha
I like that it's a sleeper. More than a few idiots on the street would think"oh gee, look, a z06" then you simply blow the doors off of their cars hehe. Sleepers are great like that!

Yep nice job on pickin' the car Heck, couple sets of spare tires might be handy with the supercharger...BTW Welcome and there are lots of things to spend money on
I think i'll keep the stock Z06 wheels for a weekend warrior/track set (drag radials) and winter set, then i'll hopefully end up with a set of nice CCW's (19/19's probably) for the street/summer months. That will take a lot of money obviously, but i'm still trying to sell some of my extra Ford stuff I have laying around. haha
I really like the rear screens- where did you get those?
nice 5.0 as well... I sold a 90 supercharged h/c/i coupe like yours to buy my Z. If I had a 3 bay garage I would have kept it- sweet cars - not corvettes but sweet nonetheless. Nice headlights and the true test, how is the ashtray and interior door bezels ;-) ? Is that a black on black? Mine was burgundy with standard black/grey interior.
I would get a Column Lock Bypass if not already done, a set of lifting pucks, inspect/change your clutch fluid, and check fluid levels in transmission and differential.
Are you happy with the tune or does it have idle issues/surging/bucking/etc? That was some of the best money I ever spent on my mustang- not familiar with the corvette setups either but my driveability improved in my mustang by adding a bypass valve to my inlet tube and I only ran 6 psi as well
