An interesting thing on Saturday was the mock battle between the Japanese Zero and the U.S. Hellcat. I just grabbed my long lens and started shooting. It was gray and kind of hard to get a good photo, but here it is.
Nice shots Jay......I saw those two planes flying around but couldn't see the markings on them...now I know what I was looking at...
Jim,
Great pictures!! and Congrats!!
Just curious how'd you get the high angle shots?
Aloha....Michael
Thanks Michael......Those shots were from the helicopter ride I paid $20 to fly in...They have offered helicopter rides each year I've attended to get an aerial view of the show...
Cool pics Jim, thanks for sharing! Love the Clydesdales... Very fine animals... and yes they do have a sweet "horsebarn" down there in St. Louis!!

So they only charged $20 for the helicopter ride this year?? Did they not charge us $25 in 2006? Sorry I mmissed the ride with ya.. Those are great shots. However, it doesn't look like there was as many vettes this year as there were in 2006. Do you think?
Also, Sorry I missed your "Corvettes on the River" show. I had another show locally that I was scheduled to go to... By the way, you have anymore pics of the red c6 (KC-Vette ride?). I really like the way he does his display with the wheels off.
