Hopefully you have the 4 digit code if it is blinking. If you lose battery power, your radio will become inoperative without the code.

I went with a dummy proof 3 digit code. I wrote it down in my printed version of the owners manual.
I'm not concerned about the stereo itself. The blinking LED is a simple visual deterrent that might sway thieves.
I know it's not a full blown alarm system like I have on my other vehicles, but it will suffice for now.
