Default V1 mounting pics

I've only had this set up now for over 3 years, but just got around to taking a couple of pics. I think the combo of the invisicord, and the great lakes mounting bracket, makes for the best and cleanest install that I have seen. It is well within reach, a good spot for the detector to sense a problem, no suction cups, and I think the visor mounts are not as good.
JMO.
A few people have asked for pics, so here are a few.

Something was obviously wrong then, as mine has been steady for 3.5 years now.

I think I have the same bracket as you do but I mounted mine to clip where the passanger visor mounts to windshield frame. Used the invisicord as well. Very clean set-up.

Looks great! I wanted to do a similar mount, but thought it would stick out too much.

It looks surprisingly great with your setup!

Which mount are you using?

Check here for the V1 bracket. I have the one for the electro mirror.
I think it's ok for me to post this?

Mount looks great... do you need somewhere to store your corvette??? It looks in danger of something falling on it...

Check your state laws!
Some states do not allow anything below the rear view mirror.
It blocks your line of site.In MI I had to mount mine on the glass just to the side of the mirror. It is still under the blue shade so no problems with detection.
Just my .02 hate to see ya get a ticket if you get pulled over by a police officer having a bad day.I have been told stories of people getting pulled over for air freshners hanging or graduation tasels

Have a good one
