Default Help me with my seat problem

I know, I know, I've searched but I can't really find a thread that answers my questions. I have my seat set so it slides back when I get out. When I get back in it doesn't automatically slide forward when I put the key in. I've read hitting the unlock button with the key fob will cause it to but I have a viper alarm system so I don't use the factory keyless entry. But when I hit the memory button it will pull the seat up part of the way but not all the way to the front. It also seems to loose its memory on either driver one or driver two no matter how many times I set it. What's going on? Is it in the computer or the seat motor? Sometimes the seat goes up really slow and you have to hit the button a couple of times before it starts working. I don't wanna get stuck out somewhere with the seat all the way back and not be able to drive the car home. Whats my problem?

adjust it to the disired position. Then hold down the #1 or #2 button till it resets to that position. Since your not using the stock key fob you will have to push the button every time you get in. Hope that helps

But no matter how many times I reset it to that position it never seems to go back to it. I hold the button till it flashes that's the correct way isn't it?

Having same issue here with 04 Z. First see if you have any codes set in the computer. If so check to see if they are relate to your problem and if so follow thru to see about resolving them. I have read a thread within the past month were Bill Curlee suggested moving the seat as far back as possible then moving to the driving position then set the memory. I tried it and it did work, but if I make changes from that position and save to memory the changes are not saved. Sorry not to be more help I am still looking.
