Default Looking to improve traction

I have plenty of hp -490 RWHP/452 RWTQ, but very bad traction.
Currently riding on runflats - looking for suggestions on how I can improve my traction.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I realize the runflats are the problem - that's why I mentioned them. Looking for suggestions on the best non-runflat .

Like to hear what others are using and if they are happy.

Thanks

I am running BFG KDWTA's. They stick pretty well in wet and dry conditions.

Some 12 inch wide [anything but runflats] will help. I hear people have been having good luck with the pdaft engine mounts and tranny mount to help avoid wheel hop and driveline disturbances.. you're going to need more tire- simple as that.

I am currently running these as well. First gear is now the only useless gear when before 1, 2, and sometimes 3 were.

Get rid of the runflats and put anything else on there. A "summer" tire will give you the best dry weather traction. I liked the KDW 2's I had on my car before but they don't make anything larger than a 295x18 and I now run PS2's 315x18.

a Nitto should do the trick for those power levels as stated above. If you're looking for even better traction then I would go with BFG's or MT's.

I has a similar problem, but I also wanted good handling in the twisties, so I went with Nitto RII. Sizes, along with other mods, are listed in my sig.

What is a fair price range for quality non runflats?

Just always like to have an idea going in

Thanks in advance.

I dont have quite the HP that you do but after losing traction and running my 00 vert off the road i went with Falken 315/30/18 on a 12 inch wheel and flared fenders. I have had no problems with these and I love the tread.

That is a 5 gallon bucket next to the tire to give you an idea of the width.
