air vent replacement

Hello,
I have a slightly damaged vent. (one fin is broken). I have looked at the dash removal thread for HUD installation. Is it possible to just remove the top dash cover without messing around with the gauge cluster?

I was wondering about that. Are you sure that the dash has to be removed to replace a broken center air vent?

Not sure about the center, but the left passenger one definitely needs the dash cover to be removed. I got the replacement today but it was the wrong color. I guess it will give me more time to figure out how to remove the dash...
