Love it or hate it?
Since I picked up the car a few months ago I started doing some research on how many were made. I was not aware that the color combo could even be ordered as red was not an option for electron blue cars.
I spoke with several people at the factory last week and finally found someone in the fabrication department that was able to look up the color combo. From what he could tell, five coupes were made and six verts. Five of the six verts came with a white top, mine is the only one with the black top.
Most of the guys in the local Corvette club thought the color combo sounded really bad until they saw it in person. I'm going to get red fuel rail covers and red letter inserts for the bumpers. I may paint the calipers red too though that may be a bit much.

Man, that color combo is awesome. And the additions you have planned, including red calipers, would look great.

I'm ok with the red interior inside the blue, but adding a bunch of red accents to the outside of the car is going to look tacky no matter how you look at it. Under the hood, sure why not. But I wouldnt add a bunch of red accents to the outside of a blue car.
