Do what YOU think looks good. Just make sure you put 600hp down on the street to back it up. Even the C5R has a wing. There are 2 yellow C6 Z06's here running around in full C6R race style and it looks sick. They pull up next to me and rev and I feel like pulling the keys from the ignition, dropping them on the street, and walking away. LOL

Didn't you post somewhere that you would be getting rid of your C5 soon b/c of finances or something? And another post where you mention getting a C6 auto?

As you are finding, large effects spoilers are not well received when installed on a non-race Corvette - at least with this crowd.
Many people here have installed small, tasteful "lip spoilers" that have little if any aero effect, and are largely used for their cosmetic impact.
For others here (it took me a little while to determine that you were talking about the smokinvette.com website in your reference), here is the image that 007 is talking about:

The image shows a black c6 coupe with a C6R style (or larger - hard to tell) rear deck spoiler.
If you like that kind of thing, I am sure a little googling will net your spoiler quickly.
