Looking to pick up a silver C5. It is very nice except it has the grey interior which i do not like. The car is a coupe which im sure makes some sort of a difference. What all is needed to transfer this over to black? A local guy has a mod red set-up he would sell me that accomodates the sport seats that this car has. If i picked up those pieces, what else would i need to swap? Carpet obviously... anything else? Thanks!
That should about cover it. If he swaps you the door panels, knee bolster, glove box and seats. Then the only thing that remains is the carpet. It is a very easy swap for those pieces. Carpet should not be hard either. I have had the carpet out in the back of my sliver coupe and it was very easy.
I guess the one question I forgot to ask is the door sills and rear speaker covers gray or black? If black then you are good to go.
Just want to put this out there, but if you end up not buying the Mod Red interior pieces from your friend, please let me know if he would still like to sell them. I'm currently hunting down a set of Mod Red pieces for my vehicle as well. Only thing I dont need is the seats.
I will trade you straight up for the grey interior,... door panels and bolsters,.. i have black door panels and bolsters,.. I have been looking for the grey for awhile,... let me know
