I wanna know how much some of u guys spent on your tints? I called a few local places and they were asking between 180 and 230 bucks thats seems really high to me for 3 windows. what did u guys pay?
4% dark "metal" tint. 150 laser cut. Supposedly, the metal factor will not fade your tint or allow near as uch heat in the car due to the reflection of the UV rays. Looks just like anyother tint but quite a bit more expensive. Check the metal tint line out.
I said the same thing. This coming from my tint guy who hooks me up because i've had him do all my cars for the past 8 years. He said its because of the back window, which is a HUGE pain in the *** to get to and also do because of the defroster. I paid 180 for 5% limo all the way around.
i know the back window is around 100$ its curved and hard to get at, but other windows should be 30-50 a piece at most nothing more, i had my trans am done with 180$ back 100 (curve window) and both sides for 80$ lifetime warranty as well
20% sides lieftime warranty $33. Back window was already tinted. Havent had a problem. Guy does a great job and am gonna send my brother to get his windows tinnted.
One of my best friends owns a tinting business and he does pretty well, and his attention to detail is extreme.
I will say this though...if your tint guy knows what he is doing, there should be no gap on the edges of the side windows. On the back glass he should put a piece of black vinyl over the dot matrix. That keeps it from looking like sh*t where the tint will NOT adhere in that area and gives it that "white" appearance.
He just retinted mine today for me, and it looks 100x better than the previous tint job.

And I will leave with this....
You get what you pay for (in most cases anyways)
Interesting about the black vinyl... My tint guy used a special adhesive to eliminate the "white bubble" look on mine.
