Minor Changes Question
Thinking about making a couple of minor changes to my '99 FRC.
Just want to change the exhaust and intake. Can someone make some suggestions. Also, what else would I need to do if I make these changes.
Finally, can anyone recommend window tinters in the SF, Sacramento or Redding areas that do a good job, even with those little dots on the rear window.

If the exhaust mod is cat backs (just the rear parts, behind the wheels), you just pick one that does what you want and either install it or have it installed, doesnt effect anything else in the car.
For the intake (again Im assuming you mean just forward of the throttle body, just the filter and plenum), they just swap it out, no other changes necessary.
You can find good sound bites to hear what most exhaust systems may sound like on a C5 on the net, or nice if you can get to a local car show and ask any C5's with aftermarket exhaust to let you hear how it sounds, believe me, they will love to make a little noise for you
I went with a Blackwing intake and Flowmaster exhaust. Im satisfied with both. The flowmasters are louder than stock at idle and normal driving and plenty loud on wide open throttle, no drone at highway speed, probably quieter than most other aftermarket exhaust.
