Fixed my spark knock sparkknock problem...
I have had a little spark knock for a while. Did all the things that are common from F/I cleaning, carbon cleaning out the intake, check for/clean line on intake known for oil, etc...
Well 1 thing that fixed my old truck was cleaning the MAF sensor, mind you it has 162k on it. I did not think of that for the Corvette as it only had 40k. Well now with 50k I still thought it would be early but then remembered a old owner put a K&N filter in it. Well a couple Q-tip later it runs great and much stronger then even before. I put in a new paper filter (STP) and cleaned the MAF sensor. The first q-tip was so dirty I could not clean all 3 parts. The 2nd was not to dirty but still had some.
Anybody lives in N.VA want to buiy a used K&N filter cheap, only $20.

I don't have a MAF on my FI but have the 2 BAR MAP sensor set-up!
Maybe try having your tuner do a 2 BAR

I thought your'e not suppose to touch the element in the maf with anything,just spray it with cleaner.Did I hear wrong?I think mine should be cleaned also,my engine pings too,not sure the maf is causing the problem

The q-tip cleaning is ok but you must be ever so gentle and you cannot touch the wires.
The easiest method is to spray it with CRC spray cleaner.
