Anyone know where I can get some decent looking seat covers for a 97 without getting a second mortgage? I've looked at neoprene but they cost almost the same as getting the leather replaced! The seats are in great shape, I'm just not a fan of leather and want something to protect them. I have those towel cover things on them now but they aren't much good.

Wet Okole makes some very good neoprene covers, but don't know what they cost compared to new leather covers. Try Mid-America - I'd bet they have some that are cheaper in price.
Well I gotta put my .02 in for VE. I guess "expensive" is realative to the buyers budget, but I didnt find them too bad. And you get outstanding quality
I hate leather seats, I used to use cloth in summer and sheepskin in winter, but cloth only lasted one year. I got Wet Okoles, about $330 for a pair. They fit good, look great and are comfortable both winter and summer.
There's a company called Iggies that makes some simulated leather ones that come in various colors. I just got some info from them and they are padded on the back, so that they won't slip around on you.
I was going to get a pair, but the yellow that they had was too bright.
I'm too cheap to buy the Vette Essentials ones to match my other stuff.

I just installed my Wet Okoles this morning. They are very high quality and they better be at $310 (includes shoulder belt cushions) for the pair. They where reasonably easy to install and would be a breeze if I had removed the seats. My 2002 leather seats look fine but I wanted these covers to keep me from sweating and sticking to the leather in the heat and on trips.
The Iggees look like a decent alternative but might be even hotter and stickier than the original leather???
Wet Okoles are the best seat covers that I've come across. Their warm in the winter and cool in the summer and their washable. What more could you ask for?
