Picked up a couple of paint chips in my Pewter 01, one of them aboutthe size of a match head, just above the passenger door handle on the curve, right down to the white. Won't go into how they got there other than it involved the wife.
Did some searching, came up with "TouchUp 123" and "Langka".
Same price for the kits, TouchUp 123 comes with paint that they supply for your colour code.
Has anyone any experience with either one of these products? Any recommendations?
I would go to the car care section of the forum and do a search on paint chips etc. You'll see a lot of discussion on the how to. Of the two you've mentioned, I Langka will work better for you. You can also try it yourself by just dabbing touch-up paint in the chip and then waiting about 10 minutes or so and then smooting it to paint level with a little paint thinner and a soft cloth wrapped around your finger. Keep doing this until the touch up paint is level with the original paint. You may have to repeat the process several times until your happy with it. Good luck.
I would just buy touchup paint and carefully touch it up. The other products will not do much better. The only perfect fix is to repaint. If your brave enough you can touch it up, wet sand the spot , then buff for decent result. Go to car care section for more help.
