2002 Z06 Engines
I'm looking at a great 2002 Z06. The guy has records with dyno reports but the reports show the stock engine has 385 hp and about 370 trq. I thought they were rated at 405 hp and 400 trq. The spes on a 2001 are 385 hp and 385 trq. Did GM have a mid year change?

the dyno is reporting rear wheel horsepower, not engine horsepower. however, a stock engine will not produce that much RWHP.

dynos can be off as much as 30 hp at any given time. it should be closer to 360 but take in consideration of the 30 hp deviance it is probably true.
FYI I LUV MY 2002 !

Stock is just that... Stock as the factory made it.
Adding an intake + a tune is not stock.
