Default No crank condition

While working on the radio, I left the door open long enough to run the battery dead. After charging the battery the Security light on the dash came on. At this time the starter does not engage. Any ideas?

that should do it. if it's an older battery and was completely discharged it may never recover. a load test will tell

I bet you didn't get a full charge in it. Did your charger register a full charge, or did you just leave it on for 12 hours.

Like another poster suggested, I'd put a tester on it.

Default No Crank after working on radio

Hi, you might have either shorted or dislodged a wire while working on the radio. Is the sec light steady on or flashing? Pull the codes and post them. I don't know how old your battery is, but it is a good idea to load test it to be sure it is a good battery. Check fuse's 14, 50, 52 in the ip fuse block. It is possible that a relearn may help, first make sure the key pellet is clean, wipe with alcholol. Then follow the below instructions. It is a longshot, but worth a try. And of course this assumes that your battery is good, and the cables to the batt, ground, starter lug, and underhood fuseblock are clean and tight.
Good Luck
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
30 Minute Learn Procedure
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).
Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes (the vehicle is now ready to relearn the password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK).

Important
The vehicle learns the password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

Start the engine (the vehicle has now learned the password).
With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed (history DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles).
