Default Transmission brace

Does anyone have any experience with the brace below? I noticed I got quite a bit of wheelhop when trying to launch my car. I also have a nitrous kit that I'm waiting to install once the driver mod is complete.

We've got them in stock, and avail for same day shipping..

(We shipped over 30 boxes of Padt product today alone)

We just had a HUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEEEE sale that kicked our ever loving butts.. But dont hestitate to give us a shot. Were striving to be the largest stocking pfadt dealer in the counrty..

Their worth every penny in not ony function, but they look cool as he!! to..

It significantly airs in drivetrain control..

Default This AND/OR the DTE brace?

Would this item be used in conjunction with, or instead of, the transmission brace made by DTE you see on all the drag cars?

Would running both totally box in the tranny making it super rigid and more solidly mounted so it couldn't flex at all? That would be sweet.

There are quite a few guys who run them both.

The DTE strut brace does not STOP wheel hop, where the Pfadt brace aids against it. So I could see them both working together quite well..

Default Goes good together.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. The DTE brace was nice to keep your tranny from breaking from high hp or wheel hop but didn't do anything to stop the wheel hop in the first place. I would seem the killer setup would be to use both parts and really keep that thing planted in place. Thanks for the response.

I’m by no means even close to an expert, but I believe the right shocks and suspension bushings will stop wheel hop. I have the DTE brace and getting the right shocks shortly. I think I’ll get this brace also.

Jeff, do you think you could hook me up in one? I haven’t spent enough money on my car yet.

Well, I got this new brace from Jeff at TPE and put it on my car Friday. Went to the track the next morning and now my problem is finding at what RPM to launch my car. Before I had so much wheel hop problem that I would just roll out and then hit the floor. Even this way, I sometimes got wheel hop. Just to be complete, I have the DTE brace, this new differential brace and adjustable shocks. Now wheel hope is a thing of the past and now I have to find out at what RPM to launch so my ET Streets don’t just spin out of control. This new brace seems to make the transmission/differential rock solid. All I can say is “Try it, you’ll like it”. By the way, this is the first time I consistently ran under 2.0 60’s. That is a first for me.

As a follow-up did you install the pfadt brace at the same time as the adjustable shocks?
