what do you guys think about coating the FAST or factory intakes so they look better under the hood,please send pics

I don't have any pictures but I do believe that FAST sends them out in the ugliest possible color they could have thought of. You should paint them anything but that grey.

I like the painted fast intakes, and another thing you should search for is coil-relocation, which allows you to install custom valve covers -
Mike Mercury is just one member that has done an awesome job in this regard - and many more.
Good luck - you seem to really be into your C5 - I will enjoy seeing your pictures....

Sand paper, filler primer, high temp gloss black Duplicolor, and high temp engine clear. Let the elbow grease begin.
