Yes they are expensive. That's why I suggested the other option.
GMPP also sells some really nice cast aluminum valve covers for the LSx motors. Theirs have CHEVROLET in raised lettering. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ers+gmpp+valve
With those you could remotely mount your coils out of site. That's been done by several members.

Those covers look great!!
Where did you get them?
Were they expensive?
Did you use a coil relocation 'kit'?
I got the GMPP valve covers from SDPC and had them powder coated Candy Apple Red. They pop in the sun. Phil Thomas - PHIL97SVT - relocated the coils for me along with a lot of other great work. He doesn't do them anymore but you can get a kit from Charlie at RPM.
I think they're out of dealing directly with the consumer and only dealing through distributors now...
Hello folks-
Those of us at Abear would like to thank you for your business over the last two years.
We've finished prototyping our parts for many different applications, and as such, we'll be closing our storefront and licensing out our products through other manufacturers and dealers.
As of today, we can no longer accept *custom* orders for engraving or anodizing. However, we do have stock inventory left that fits a variety of applications. Please email sales@abearmotorsports.com to check our stock for enclosed rocker covers that fit your application.
Stay tuned to this page for updates about where else you'll be able to buy our parts in the near future.
Here is another company to consider. They manufacture what they sell. They're cast and machined finish. They're not a site supporting vendor, so I won't provide their direct website link... yourcovers.com
