Ive been lurking on the forum for a while now and I joined a couple months ago when I bought my Vette. Ive always had Camaros and Trans Ams in the past and now I finally have what Ive always wanted. Anyways its a 97 F45 WD0 with 59k. Mods Ive completed so far are Z06 air lid, Hurst shifter, tint, painted brakes, lowered on stock bolts, jake skull exhaust plate, clear corners, red shift boot/****/console cover, and 2001 wheels that I powdercoated BLACK. I have exhaust as well as red bumper letters on order and then Ill take a break from modding. Here are pix, critique me if you'd like. I know there are alot of black rim haters/lovers. They didnt cost much and they sure stand out from the rest.
Actually if you have a bit of a red theme on the interior and with the rear bumper letters, red calipers with black letters would look pretty awesome too...

Red calipers I feel are overdone however they do look great. I choose silver with red letters and it looked great with silver wheels. Im gonna chew on leaving them for a little while before I decide if I wanna paint them red or black.
Thanks all. I cant stay off of this forum. I used to frequent camaroz28.com before I moved on to the vette. Anyways after the big black rim debate thread I am surprised no one has had anything negative to say, yet.

Yes its a sickness. Everytime I buy a car, I show it off and then hideout for a month while I give it a makeover and then show it off again. After I put the exhaust on I am going to try not to do anything else to it for the rest of the year!
Have you thought about tinting the front signal lenses? You may like they look of the clear, but I like tinted. Yours stand out like a sore thumb to me. It is your car, so whatever floats your boat man
Check out the album in my profile for some pics of my tinted lenses.
