I have the BabyC5 for slightly over a year now. More recently (gas prices the cause) I have been using it as my daily driver. The RAM 1500 as the other optioin.
Anywho, I stop at a gas-station today and a mail-truck with its driver are at the other pump and said that the C5 probably gets better gas mileage than his mail truck (by the way, the small neighborhood mail trucks are 4-cylinders). We talk for a moment. Then it just hit me again that we are lucky enough to be driving in one of the best American made muscle cars....ever. I have been driving it so often lately, kind of went to the back of my mind what great cars we drive....... Other people are starting to notice something we take for granted...
I never forget this, and that is one of the great reasons why I bought my car. It gets better fuel mileage than my 85 S-15 by nearly double on the highway, and has 470% more horsepower than when my truck was new. And somehow () gets 3 times the mileage of my 396 66 Chevelle. Great Car!
