I installed "trunk popper" spring on my C5 vert. Now the trunk lid pops up the perfect height every time.
The Trunk Popper is available from someone on this forum. You can probably do a search for trunk popper.

Key and hope it the crack is large enough to pull it up.

The previous owner took it in and the dealer installed that little piece of rubber at the top of the trunk.

He reported that the trunk would only open when it was hot outside.

Put key in door lock.................. turn back and fourth 3 times........ watch what happens. That's how I do it. No fob needed.

WTF is going on in here? We have this, we have the "how do you close your door," "how do you close your hood," the illiterate dude looking for the carbon fiber airplane wing, who has the ugliest Vette... and the list goes on.

Have Vette people really dropped this far??
