I finally got around to trying to lower it again after the frozen bolt issue on the right front...got the bolt to move! But when it turns so is the bushing underneath and the threads seem to only spin in place...and the more I turned it (counterclockwise) the bushing moved out to the side and is about to slide out. Obviously its corroded and just crumbling out..Need a lil help!

I used PB Blaster overnight then heated up the area with a torch. Then it finally came free. Now the gap between the bushing and the bottom of the arm is not changing when I turn it.
The pressed in threaded metal insert within the spring has apparently failed. It's like a captured RIVNUT.
The threaded adjustment bolt threads into that insert. You evidently broke the insert free from within the fiberglass spring by the heat and/or force used to free the adjustment bolt.
It cannot be repaired due to the stresses. Another member experienced the same thing recently and had to buy another front spring...
