[Z06] OEM Brake Pads???

OEM Brake Pads???
I am looking at replacing my front brake pads on the Z and called the local dealer and they told me that all pads for the Corvette are the same. I thought that the Z06 has special pads. Who is right?

Here's what I recall.
The '01 Z06 uses the same brake pads as the other Corvette models, but for the long lead press review at Mid Ohio, GM installed some stouter pads more suitable for a day's worth of hot lapping mid-Ohio by a bunch of journalists.
Since that time GM released a performance pad for Corvettes. I'm not sure if this was the pad they used at the Z06 long lead press day, but likely it is, or very close. The GMPP pads are actually cheaper than the OEM pads, but if you're happy with the OEM pad performance I'd recommend you stay with them.
You can double check all this with the parts guys at Ken Fichtner's store.
