Not "murdered out" but have flat black accents on the car?
When I get a chance I might try something like this. Flat black wheels, paint the lower part of the rear fascia flat black, and maybe even run a flat black stripe or something on the car.
Just seeing if anyone has something similar and has pictures I can see? I did a search but didn't come up with much.
Doesn't have to be "flat black" I mean satin black and all that pretty much look the same.
You guys know what I'm saying. I know its a pretty generalized post, but I wanted to get some pictures to make sure I'll like it. Corvette's are nice cars and I don't want to necessarily paint things "dull" (flat/satin black) and make it look "cheap".
Also I don't want to get powder coated wheels gloss black then have flat black accents. It would look all miss matched, so that's why I'm asking for the flat/satin black pictures to see if I like it.
I think this is awesome to ad a great flair without teenage "In your face" graphics, but...what happens when you get wax on the matte finish of the stripes. How to you get it off?

I bought my stripes from Mike at vettestripes. Had them on my car for 6 years with no problem. I didn't use the traditional wax but used rejex and other spray waxes as well. Didn't worry about getting it on the edges of the stripes and it never affected them... I can spray meguiars quick detail on the stripes while cleaning the car with a micro fiber towel and the are left look great..
I recently replaced my hood and installed new stripes with flat black on the new hood. Again no issues when cleaning Hope this helps.. Can't say about all stripes but Mikes vinyl stripes are great quality
I have done my mirrors, license plate area, and fender stripes in plastidip...looks good to me. Will have to see if I have any pics...
Only pic I have... side mirrors and stripes. I thought about plastidipping hood stripes, but if you don't peel the tape quick, it pulls the plastidip. Didn't feel like taking that on right now.
