Well I was driving home from work about 1 am last night and I was about a mile from my house and I hit a deer coming out of some tall grass. Only saw it for a second it was foggy so I was only going about 35mph luckily. As soon as I saw it I swervered, but I still hit the head because apparently it ducked or something because it took out my brand new passenger side DEPO headlight and my passenger side fender. Luckily that is all. No damage to the hood or the nose piece. Guess it is going up for the winter. I am going to take out the motor and put in the forged bottom end anyway along with a few other goodies, but I just cant believe it I still feel sick to my stomach. I am looking to replace the damaged parts so if anyone can help me please let me know what you have so I can fix my babies face. Thanks Jason here are the pics:
That hurts! I collided with one a couple of years back, just down the road from my house. My wife and I were in her Jag sedan at the time.
Deer are SO stupid, this one simply ran into the car! It must have seen something on the other side of the road and developed a fatal case of "tunnel vision".
Sorry about your damage. BUT it's not a baby and thats' not a babies face..it is a CAR with some slight damage to the front end....fix it and get over it..!!!!!
Glad it was not any worse. I got T-boned by a deer a little over 10 years ago, in a Monte Carlo SS. Took out the door, quarter window and put a deep dent into the quarter panel. $3000 later I had it fixed, with a new overall paint job (had to strip off the poor quality factory paint myself).
