Default convertable hardtop

I have a 99 convertable, does anyone have experiance with a hardtop for these. I like the look of a hardtop, and love the look when it is off.

Smoothline was running a special; mine optioned the way I did was about $2500 plus shipping. Body shop charged $500 to paint and I installed it.

Top is light, about 70 pounds. Two wingnuts and the factory front style lever latching is used for mounting.

What color is your `99? I know someone who has a Smoothline for sale, painted Mag. Red.

They look cool!

How is your paint when you remove it? Any wear or vibration damage?

Does it do a good job keeping the rain out? My vert leaks.

I'd like one but I think I would paint it black like the vert top.

I have not had it in the weather yet, I got it early Sept and have been away so I have not washed it or exposed it to water yet.
