Friend told me about an 02 Z06 they saw from a private seller who wanted to sell his Z with 45k for 15k. Car looked good. He does not have any room in his garage. (Nice problem) Anyways, is this too good to be true? Going to see it this week. Probably going to have my mechanic check it out top to bottom.

Well if it is true then you need to be over there with cash tomorrow. Of course check it out but you cant find much more than salvage titled high mile cars for 15k. If the car was in good shape it should go for 23 to 24k now.

Camp out infront of his house with the cash. Make sure title is clear. Basically I agree with the above post. If its good to go purchase it immediatly and drive as fast as you can after the transaction. Then change your phone number so he can never get a hold of you. Don't tell him where you live and basically make him believe you fell off the face of the earth and he cannot get his car back. I am sure you get what I'm saying.
