You might want to correct that tire size for a better response.

i use this as a daily driver during the summer. I dont think there would be an issue putting stock tires on zo6 rims, i am just hoping that they fit.

will the stock tire size Goodyear Eagle GT Tires 45R17 R17 45R

Do you mean 245/45/17??? Tire rack recommends a rim of 7-9.5 inches. If this indeed the tire size you meant to say, you should be fine. But why would you want to go to a smaller width?

Yes i did mean that, i guess i copied and pasted the wrong text, anyway, i can get a pair of the smaller size for approx. $400 cheaper than the bigger size. my car had a Z06 alignment from the previous owner and it has wore the insides of the tires right down to the belts.

When it comes time to replace the rears you will not be able to find a similar replacment tire. The GT doesn't have a size for the rear. This is important as you need to keep the rear tire diameter larger than the front. Stock difference is ~ 1 in. Don't try to cheap out on the tires.
