Default Time for tires, which ones?

Sorry if this is beat to death, I couldn't find it on FAQ.
What does everybody recommend for tires?
Reasonable price, good ride on a driver.
99 with 2000 wheels
Thanks,
Larry

Well Larry you are going to get a lot of opinions about your question. One thing this forum has is opinion so here's mine.

If you are going with Run Flat's then the Michelin Pilot Sport ZP is a great tire and quiet as far as run flats go. All 4 will run you about $1,200 or so if you shop around. I had them on my vette and they are fairly quiet and a decent ride.

If you are moving away from run flats, your car is a daily driver and you don't track it then I would recommend a tire that I initially put on to get me through until I made a decision on a new set of wheels. I want to move away from stock wheel sizes, however the old Michelin's we getting thin so I picked up a set of General Exclaim in stock sizes for the tidy sum of $500 for all 4! I've still not made up my mind on the wheels I want to go with, however I have decided that the General Exclaim is a great tire for the money and the ride is so much better than run flats.

Here are a few links on tires.

Thanks Grandpas, This is what I needed.
I don't like the runflats and have a set of Eagle F1's that are about 50% used up that came on the 2000 wheels I bought. I may just use them for now.
Thanks for the info and links.
