I know there are several versions of these fixed headlights available. Which one provides (a) the easiest installation and (b) more importantly the best lighting and visibility? How do they compare to stock lights? I am looking for HID type lighting.
If I install these, I want an improvement in nightime visibility from the driver's seat, not just a cosmetic upgrade.
Thanks.

I've had the Specter Werks C5R lights for a few years now. I also bought an aftermarker HID kit to use with them (which works well). They look good from a distance, but I would not do it again to be honest. The quality and fit of the SW stuff is not that great in my opinion. They are also expensive. If you want HIDs, I would keep the popups and go with one of the other HID kits including the lenses.
Specter werks has probably the best structure for headlights. I upgraded mine to 55w 6000k Xenons and adjusted the optics for a sharper cutoff. In addition the SW lenses are lexan and VERY strong against all but the most vicious impacts. They can also be painted and covered with a clearcoat to make them significantly more scratch resistant.
Ideally the best solution would be replacing the projectors with somthing like Acura TL and D2S capsules.....however i'm perfectly happy with the output and pattern i currently have. I'm not obsessed wtih a razor cutoff.
The best ones I've seen are the ACA units. Problem is they are in some type of litigation with rip-off duplicators from overseas, so I cant find the ACA kits for sale anywhere.
I have the Spector Werks C5R Headlights with Xentec HIDs, They look Awesome and my night vision did improve. I dont have a night shot but here they are with the lights off

One of my local friends has the BPP kit. While cosmetically it is by far the best it for keeping the lines of the car, the output from it's reflectors leaves much to be desired. One CF member did replace the low beam with a 50mm Hella projector module for significantly improved performance.
