Default New Rims Help

I'm looking to purchase new rims, but when i first bought the car i was forced to purchase a new set of tires because the car was undrivable. I have the stock 2k thin spoke polished rims that have some road rash and i put on Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season tires that now have less then 1k miles on them.
Do you think I should purchase rims that will fit these tires or buy bigger rims and try to sell the stock setup? How much would a stock setup go for with tires and no sensors? Also what size rims and tires setup would you suggust for mininal problems?
Thanks

Chances are the stock setup won't bring much money so what I did was to keep them and put them on for winter storage and bring in my CCW's in the house for a good polishing and waxing for next spring. That way you can go with what ever size you want.

Seconded. Keep the stock stuff. While some people look to buy the thin spokes, you aren't going to get much for them. And run-flats, while serving their purpose, are looked down upon by most looking for a true upgrade when doing a wheel/tire purchase.

This way you can get much larger size wheels, a hell of a lot more performance oriented tires, and keep your stock stuff for a backup.

Yea sucks but i guess i can just bite the bullet and keep them as spares for now.
What is a common tire and rim setup? I think I would go 19/18. I'm just worried about getting the right sizes.
Also in the past I would use a site like wheelmax.com to pick out my rims....anyone know of a good site that would do a staggered combination that has a lot of options because im picky?
Thanks again

Eh, sites like that are not going to have what you're after. If you want rim help, go searching for pictures of different setups on the forum. Keep searching until you find what you like. Its the best way.

You can go with an 18/19 combo - looks very good on the C5. Or even 18's all the way around.

I agree....18/19 looks good, but 19/20 just makes it incredible looking. Some of the best wheels you can buy, that really sets a vette off is the CCW wheels....but they are pricey.

I say 18/19 but I'm biased.

you can run into problems if you do not keep the correct height in front/ rear

40's up front 35's in the rear

275 front 295 rear or
265 / 295

Go with a 9.5 up front 10.5 rear rim setup unless you want larger tires.

I'm running 265/35/18 ..18 x 9.5" up front and 305/30/19..19x11.0" rear. These sizes have the same roll out as a stock C-5 Zo6. No issues at all.

With C6 sizes you can use the new generation Goodyear EMT, or in either case go with the new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP (same as ZR1). Which by the way are getting excellent reviews.
