Default Do I really need oil?

Since our C5s are built by the hand of god, can I save money and fill it up with something like maple syrup? That's pretty viscous and cheap? No long term damage, right?

let's see - a gallon of Maple Syrup is about $34, which is close to what a case of Mobile One goes for...

lol and while your at it you can run it off gatorade in the gas tank

i prefer to use used vegetable oil, i just pick it up right from restaurants

syrup caramelizes at 215 - 235 degrees so I doubt if it's a good idea

Carry a bag of waffles with you in case you get hungry. Heck, you could sell fresh hot waffles on the road in traffic jams.....
