Thanks in advance for your help. When I turn on my C5, the headlights pop up. I then have to turn the switch on and can flip them back to the off position in a few minutes. What is up with this?
Sounds like you need a new multi-function switch...This is the "stalk" switch on the left side of the steering column that operates your headlights, turn signals and cruise control....Several things can happen when this switch fails...One, as you described...another....the lights will pop up but wont come on....another is the headlights will work but the taillights wont...or will intermittently....I think the "multi" stands for multiple PROBLEMS

Multiple problems!!! Wait, I just got depressed...my check engine light came on earlier today....
Does it happen all the time? Mine did that once, but it suddenly stopped. I hope in your case it's the same.

IS this switch hard to change? Sounds complicated! I have the same problem(s) on my C5!
