I agree,I carry a small electric compressor in the rear well ,most leaks arent that fast that you cant get home eeven if you have to fill it a couple of times.They are cheap at walmart!

Love the "Home Alone" response. 
Research the many threads on here on tires: Run Craps vs. non-Run Craps. There are advantages to each.
But, at the risk of pissing off my C4 colleagues: trust me, the C5 is a far superior automobile in every way. Do not let the no-spare issue keep you from enjoying a C5.
Suggestion: Get a later model Vert if you can. (My TR 01 is my first Vert.) The difference in price now vs. new is reduced. They are truly remarkable cars.
