i got the bumper all lined up. lookin good my friend. hows yours?
Cool, i can't wait to see pix of your's. We haven't messed with ours since we did the initial test fit, probably mess with it this weekend again.
Thanks for the comments guys I will also have just the lip available for the guys that already have the bumper, it also will be considerably less than the original.
I'm lining up for one of these in the near future. And if you get bored and need an idea... I'd love to have one of these types of louvered hoods WITHOUT the high rise center section. (stock center section would be best.. IMO)
i made fiberglass hangers for the cornerlights so they would mount like oem. and i had to take a little out on the middle to get the hoodline perfect but im a perfectionist when it comes to body work. there is still little things here and there but only i notic them. lol. once the bumper is mounted it is like it sets so if you were to take it off it would hold the shape of your car. when it came out of the box its shape was not perfect on the car but now it is mounted up and then taken off it holds the shape damn near perfect.

WOW!! Look's pretty good Chris Lol you dont do body work for a living do you J/K...
But yeah that doesnt look too bad, I need to work on mine this weekend, what did you do just sand the area down where the hood meets the bumper? I know ours it pretty tight there and I was going to take off some material.

If I had enough interest in something like that I could get it made. I have been thinking of making a hood, just dont know what i'll do.
Up until the C4, corvettes have always had some sort of hood louvers albeit most of them fake. Only a few years/models got left out. It would be nice and keep the added heat down. If it's good for Ferrari, Maserati, Vipers (specific years), racing Corvettes, etc....
I know what you mean, however I would need at least 10 people or so commited to buy one to be able to produce it. I am going to make a hood that will be in the $600 range and im sure it will be very nice, I just need to decide what its going to look like, a copy or something different.
