"Refined Violence"
Today I took my car to my local Chevy dealership to see if they could take off my oil filter that they had seemingly tightened with an impact wrench...
One of the salesman came out to inspect my car as he had heard through the grapevine that I had had a blower installed...
He asked to see under the hood....so I cordially obliged
His eyes opened as wide as saucers and he then asked if he could start it...
I said "go right ahead !
He got out of the car and said to me..."K ...can you take me for a spin ??"
I said "Sure ! lets go !!"
Well needless to say I got on the highway and hammered in 3rd gear....the car got into boost and hit the rev limiter (5700 rpms for now until the boost pump is installed Tuesday) extremely fast...
I brought him back to the dealership and we stood and chatted for 15 minutes as all the mechanics came out and looked...
He told me that the combination of comfort (along with the amenities) and the sheer acceleration power equated to what he called "Refined Violence"
I drove off with a smile on my face...I don't think I could have defined my first two days under boost any better !!!
