[Z06] What is this hose?

What is this hose?

I installed some foglights on my 2002 Z06 this weekend, and as I was putting everything back together I noticed a rubber hose that came down next to the radiator hung down close to the airdam and did like a 180, and went back up. I am not sure where this hose was sitting before i started working on it, but i am sure that it wasnt hooked up to anything. This is prob. a dumb question but, does any body know what i am talking about, and do i need to do anything with it?

It sounds like the hose for the airpump....it brings in fresh air from the airbox and pumps it to the exhaust manifold at startup.
