I would use tips like these... we share the same light pattern, etc. I think it makes the car look wider / lower...

I just may be stupid enough to do it!

Kinda interesting,,but what about the brace that the muffler support is bolted to ?? I think it would cause interference for routing the new tip placement. Seems that filling the bumper in where the old outlet was would be a hassle as well. I'll be watching though. Don't know if I would do it ,, but I kinda like it!!

Don't let these unimaginative and uncreative old farts ruin an aspiring idea of yours...I say if you have the time and resources, and can "do it right," then GO FOR IT.

I seem to recall that there is some scavenging effect by having the tail pipes in the middle. More efficient exhaust. Porsche Boxster has it. But there are many cars that don't.
So if it's a style thing or 'be different' thing ... go for it.
Be sure and post when done.

HEY!!! not all us old farts are unimaginative etc. I voted for it!! I think it gives it a little of the muscle car look!!Something different. GM probably went with 4 in the center to be different in the first place with so many C5s and 6s out there it is no longer that different! The C4 butt is not THAT different from the C5 and its pipes are out there and looks good!!

Of all the Porches that are fast, the POS boxster is the one with the center tips. Call me when the 911 GT2 gets that setup.

Go for it!

I bet if he designs a bumper specifically for it (ie NOT just cutting holes in it), then it could turn out pretty cool!
