Driveway lights can be replaced. Replace them so the GF doesn't feel bad that you think more of your car than her property.
Ice the foot and take some Advil.
And last but not least..... thank your lucky stars that know one or nothing was seriously hurt.
Yeah, been there, done that, didn't even get the lousy t-shirt
(they were out of my size )
I drove up a set of ramps, and jacked up the rear w/o using wheel chocks. It went up fine. Coming down, though...
Luckily, I just missed being pinned between the car and shop door.
Glad to know no one and nothing was hurt. Have a beer!

Pretty funny because of the happy ending. You get credit for posting that up. I'm picturing Homer Simpson letting it roll away, putting his hands in his pocket, whistling, and walking the other direction.
Oh man....I can totally relate and commiserate....
Last spring, I was getting ready to leave on a forum cruise...early morning ....and the windows were all fogged up.
So I started the car and pulled on the E-brake hard.....tranny in neutral.
You see where this is going....and my driveway has a good slope to it.
Well, sometimes the e-brake handle clacks loudly and I can pull it up more.
So, apparently it had one of these unpredictable moments that morning.
My friend comes in the house and asks if my car was supposed to be across the frontage street and over the decorative bushes.
Uh........no?
Sure enough, it had let go and rolled backwards across the frontage street (no traffic)....creamed out a big bush...lodged between two others and was heading for the main street (four lanes, fast and BIZY!!)
Lordy...we used some 2x4's to get it off the curb and there were two minor scratches on the rear.....so lucky....
We went on the cruise and it ran fine.....couldn't believe it.
...and I've never actually knocked my own motorcycle over on the front of my wifes vette and had to hold the bike up with everything I had to keep all it's weight off the bumper for 20 mins until my neighbor saw me and saved my *ss....
[QUOTE=11SECSS;1567570374]Holy crap dude!! Did you get hurt?
No I wasn't hurt, scared the crap out of me though. I was putting a dropped axel on it and while trying to get enough leverage on it to get the old one off I just pulled the car off the jack stands on me. The Buddy was supposed to be there to help me but he was late.
When i was 12 years old many moons ago, i was in my kitchen eating breakfast just before school when i heard this massive bang and the house shook. Just as i jumped off my chair and nearly craped my pants i heard my dad screaming my name and ran out the front door to see my dad wedged between the car and the garage door. I quickly got in the car and backed it up and went to my dad to see if he was ok. Well thankfully he was ok just a little bruised on his lower back but the car not so good aboyt $800 damage (22 years ago).
I asked dad what happened and he told me he just left the car in gear (automatic) at the bottom of driveway which had a bit of a hump and went to open the garage door when the car crept up and pinned him. After hearing this i just lost it and started telling my dad off and asked him how he could do something so stupid and not put the car in park, what did he think the car was just going to stay there, well his reply was i have done this many times before and it was fine accept this time. Well i figured out what was different this time and that was he had the air conditioning on so when he stopped the car it was ideling low and then the a/c compressor must of kicked in and the idel went up which was enough to get the car over the hump and moving. This could have really hurt or killed him.

Weird..at 12 years old I seriously doubt that I would have ever "told my dad off"...especially when it was an accident and he could have been hurt. You made it sound like it was your car, and he drove it through the garage door or something..
