They should have done this back in 2001 when the Ford Explorer recall happened and all those people were killed. Firestone is lucky Bridgestone kept them floating for this long.

Firestone Tires will continue to roll. Simply a corporate name change. Imagine the Indy 500 without the name Firestone? Never happen.

How 'bout that. I just installed the set of Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals (EMTs) and love them! 5th set of tires I've had on the Vette and hands down the best riding, handling, and quietest tire I've run to date (I'm a run flat guy).
